This is an original WWII poster that reads "Blackout the Axis with your Scrap" showing the Axis powers leaders next to a list of tonnage amounts, showing how much scrap would be needed to take out each leader. This poster aimed to get citizens to donate their scrap to the war effort so the government could build military equipment.
This poster was created in the 1940s and is in great condition and has been professionally linen backed. The actual poster measures 35 x 45 inches and the total size with the linen backing is 39 x 49 inches. Some of the original fold lines are visible showing a little wear and there are some marks on the poster. This poster is very rare and difficult to find, especially in this condition. You might see some shadows in the photos.
