WWII Original "Bits of Careless Talk" Poster by Stevan Dohanos (Linen Backed)

Description

For sale is a guaranteed original poster by Stevan Dohanos. It reads "Bits of Careless Talk are Pieced Together by the Enemy" and then "Convoy sails for England Tonight." This poster was meant to remind citizens that spies could overhear their talk of military information such as troop movements which could help the enemy sabotage the war effort.
This poster was created in the year 1943 and is in excellent condition and has been professionally linen backed. The actual poster measures 20 x 28 inches and the total size with the linen backing is 24 x 32 inches. Please see all photos for the condition as the photos are part of the description. There are some shadows in the photos and are not on the actual poster.
