Four beautiful women are in a line representing the 4 branches of the armed forces.The first women in line is for the Army (WAAC) (WAC), the second the Navy (WAVES) , the third the Marines (USMCWR), and the fourth is for the Coast Guard (SPARS). A group of gorgeous recruits in natural color on a deep blue background. This is an original vintage World War II poster. These posters were created not only to entice women to do their part on the home front, but also to take a war job or join the military. The glamorous images portrayed on these posters were young, attractive, feminine, and intelligent all-American girls, portrayed in an effort to break down any previously held negative ideas about women in the workplace or in the military
