Stanton 681 EEE Phono Cartridge

Description

Stanton 681EEE stereo cartridge set. Comes complete with beautiful wood case, metal box with hardware, screwdriver, stylus guard, 'Longhair' stylus brush, and calibration certificate with cartridge's serial number on it. Also included is the plastic Stanton sleeve that slips over wood box.
I just had its original D6800 stylus retipped with a 7/75 round shank hyperelliptical as recommended by the retipper. Similar sonic signature as the original with the added benefit of it being a slightly finer tip with longer stylus life expectancy that what originally came with the cartridge.
*Stylus guard may not be the one that originally came with the set, looks like a Pickering guard. Either way, it still protects the tip and fits on fine. There are a few marks on the side of the cartridge, does not affect performance. Regarding the back side of the plastic stylus housing, I wrote HE on it so I would know it was retipped and would not be confused with a stock D6800. I did the best writing job I could, but I’m no artist. On the plastic sleeve that slips over the wood box, there are a few splits in the plastic on that sleeve
