    Description

This is an original WWII War Bond Poster inspired  by Norman Rockwell (1894- 1978) the world renowned American Artist.  Rockwell's paintings evoke powerful feeling and have a way of inspiring action.  The Government asked Rockwell to paint a series of paintings that could be used to inspire a nation to buy war bonds. Rockwell did not disappoint.  Each painting turned to poster was a representation of our cherished civil rights as religion, speech, and assembly. This campaign was so popular that not only were the original paintings sought after  but so were the bonds. This bond is in mint condition and has been shellacked to prevent deterioration.  You can still see the original fold lines on the this 45"x 36" original war bond poster.  It has been tastefully framed to add increased  value.
